Are you or your daughter currently struggling with...
I Can Support You
Therapy with me is tailored to you and your specific needs. We work together to gently explore what has shaped your thoughts and feelings, and help you begin to question negative beliefs you have about yourself, learn to challenge comparison, cope more confidently with anxiety and build a sense of self-worth that isn’t dependent on appearance or achievement.
What We’ll Work On Together
Throughout sessions with me, we focus on change that feels meaningful and sustainable rather than rushed or surface-level. You might come to therapy to talk about one thing, like food, anxiety, or body image, but what we work on is often much deeper, including:
✨ Understanding where unhelpful beliefs about yourself came from
✨ Learning how to cope with difficult emotions
✨ Building confidence and self worth, so you feel confident about what you deserve in life and relationships
✨ Developing healthier patterns of thinking and responding to stress
✨ Feeling more comfortable in your body and calmer in your mind
Change doesn’t always feel like a big lightbulb moment, it often starts slowly, with new ways of seeing yourself. Over time, this foundation makes everyday life feel easier and you're able to build your own sense of self-worth and confidence.
Are you a parent seeking support for your daughter?
It can feel incredibly worrying to watch your daughter struggle with anxiety, low confidence or body image concerns. You might notice she is withdrawing, becoming more self critical, obsessing over how she looks, or seeming overwhelmed or anxious in ways that were not there before.
You may be trying to say the right thing, to reassure her, to help her see how wonderful she is, but you feel like its not getting through, which can feel frustrating and heartbreaking at the same time.
Therapy gives her a private and consistent space to explore what she might not feel able to say at home. At the same time, I aim to keep communication with parents open and appropriate, balancing your daughter’s confidentiality with your role in supporting her.
Common concerns parents contact me about include:
✨ Ongoing anxiety and overwhelm
✨ Low self esteem and negative self talk
✨ Body image worries and comparison
✨ Difficulties with food or eating patterns
✨ Friendship struggles and relationship worries
If you are unsure if therapy is the right step or have any questions, I offer a free 20 minute phone or online consultation where we can talk through your concerns and discuss what support might look like. Your child is also welcome to attend this consultation if you/they want to get a better feel for what therapy with me could look like.
You do not have to navigate this alone.
